Just before the First World War, three handsome young men, who have led a no-female life, get together for a week of games and sport. Although desperate for female interaction, the chums settle for a male-only get together.
Games are played and sports are competed, each silly young ass appreciating the other's masculine features and strength in what quickly becomes a deeply homoerotic week. There is an undercurrent of homosexuality from a private club and the servants, but the inexperienced, naïve, silly asses are unaware of this.
At last, their sporting activities become more physical and homoerotic attraction turns to homosexual sport in a deeply erotic ending to this novel.
